Having graduated from the University of Northampton with a BSc in Computer Science in 2006, Tom started off in a 2nd Line Support role, moving up to 3rd Line and Backend Development in Perl through a series of automation scripts. Tom's work then progressed to a Frontend Developer where he found his main passion. Since then, he has worked on data visualisations for IoT devices, higher education web applications and much more.
In Mid 2018, Tom was given the opportunity to choose a Frontend framework for a web application, and chose VueJS. Tom is a fan of VueJS and enjoys working with it when he can.
Recently in 2020, Tom started at GPMD and started his ecommerce career working with ecommerce platforms like Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify and Shopware. His focus has been with Shopware PWA and Shopware 6 respectively. Additionally, he has been heavily involved in buidling GPMD’s first product Apio.
