If you are unfamiliar with what is involved with front-end development it's a good idea to try and understand the basics. This will help you with your online project. HTML is a mark-up language that we use to define your website's content. Once the HTML has been created we can then style it and position the content accordingly. This is where we code the CSS. The advantage of CSS is that you can change the way your content is presented on your site simply buy changing a few values in your CSS files.
Making sure that your website works and looks correct in all the web browsers is incredibly important but you also need to consider how the site will look on other platforms. Mobile devices like iPhones, Blackberries and PDAs are a few examples of such platforms.
