A start-up luxury British golf clothing company, UKKO needed a website presence to compliment their smart and sophisticated apparel for both on and off the course. Nick Hovey the founder required a solution that allowed him to manage and update the website and keep in touch with his customers.
Magento was the perfect solution for UKKO, providing all the required features with an easy to use interface. Designed by Allies Design the resulting website provides the perfect home for UKKO online.
We worked closely with Nick to ensure that all products were properly set-up and provided training and ongoing support. We also integrated our email marketing solution with 2 templates and seamless integration with Magento.
The website has been up and running since October 2008, with UKKO launching officially in June 2009. Since the launch there has been a significant increase in traffic. Traffic from Google has been strong with the site being found from 393 different searches. Nick has also been active on his blog using it to keep customers informed of what's happened at UKKO. He has also made extensive use of competitions and sponsorship to help establish the brand. The email mailing list is growing at an average rate of 20% per month.
