The GPMD 24-Hour Internal Project

Posted by Paul Rogers on 30 June 2011

GPMD's Richard and Mariana are hard at work!Earlier this year, Mark and Rich (both GPMD directors) suggested that we undertake a special 24 hour internal project with an objective of creating something useful or adding value to GPMD. We then decided that we would each pitch an idea, vote on the winner and work on the project over two days at the end of June 2011.

Today, on the 30th of June 2011, we have started work on our top-secret initiative, which will be revealed/launched tomorrow evening here on our blog. We are currently working against the clock to get everything in place and finish the project by tomorrow's deadline of 20:00pm.

Breakfast at GPMD!Having agreed on two 12-hour shifts, we all arrived at work this morning for 8:00am sharp, going straight into a team meeting to discuss our roles and responsibilities for the project. Once we had done this, we then spent around an hour planning the process and outlining the key areas that required the most time and input.

We will be blogging and tweeting frequently throughout the project, so keep an eye out for updates on our progress!
