Multi-Channel funnel conversion allows website owners to see what marketing activities assisted in a sale. Often a person placing an order will have interacted with multiple campaigns before placing the order. Up until now Google analytics has only been able to tell marketeers the last interaction (for example clicking on a link in an email).
Now we can see what interactions customers had before the last click, for example, a search on google for 'widgets' lead them to your website, where they signed up for your email before clicking the link in the email which resulted in a sale.
